Hi Steven and Gretchen,
   I wanted to give you an update on our status & progress.
We began FPU classes about 3 wks ago and so far we are enjoying them. We realize how blessed we are to already be "on our way" to financial peace. It breaks my heart to see so many terrified faces at the classes. Much like how we must have looked to you back when we first met! We look forward to sharing our journey and sense of hope with others in the class.
    We are so very thankful that we are under the watchful and loving care of our Lord & Savior. He has been preparing us for this trial for a long time. We are so thankful to Him for leading us to you. His timing and ways are perfect! While we are not nearly as far along in this process as we wish we were, I can only imagine how much more difficult this would have been for us if we had not faced our financial reality months ago.We have a budget, we have a plan, and we have HOPE!
    I realized, just today, that if this had happened prior to our meeting with you, we would have relied heavily on credit cards to get us through. Now, just the thought is absurd to us!

It's been amazing how much easier things are now that we are using this system. In November we gave our church 6%, but since then, we have been able to give 10% of our income. We  thank you for all your help. It was the best investment we ever made!
